Site Design
curlr.org has an ironic new coat of paint.
I've learned enough about skinning this cms to give curlr an ironic "web 2.0" facade. Yes, I know web 2.0 is not about big titles and Arial fonts and rounded corners and gradients - and I'll probably write about that later - but I still think it looks kind of nice.
More details than you can possibly want to know.
The skin started life as a sinorca template , but has been sufficiently hacked to bear minimal resemblance internally or externally to the original. More importantly it hasn't been tested across browsers or platforms, so any shortcomings therein are my fault; it works fine on Windows XP with IE 6 and Firefox. The rounded corners came from neurotic web design, though there are many resources on the web, like the web desgner's handbook to help out with this and other styling challenges.
The skin is w3C validated for CSS 1.0 and XHTML 1.0 Transitional (it would be Strict, but I like opening links in new window especiallly for the Curlr toys) and you'll find links on the bottom of the page that prove it.
